Description

What is the role of algebraic thinking in the elementary grades? From a young age, students can engage in finding patterns, making generalizations, and reasoning about mathematical properties. All of these activities introduce students to the habits of mind that will lead to success in algebra.

This webinar showcases early algebra models from the NSF-funded Dynamic Number project. All of the Sketchpad models come pre-built and require no prior knowledge of Sketchpad to use.
